Hong Kong & Macau

It was four days of photo-walking in Hong Kong and Macau.  We had to deal with the moody weather, blazers put on and taken off on repeat.  Wished we visited during Autumn instead.  Nonetheless, we enjoyed the trip.  We relied on the travel blogs plus the MTR app and by the way, I loved Hong Kong’s MTR.  I felt safe carrying my camera everywhere without worrying about it getting snatched or stolen.  If we had more time, we could have visited more places which were in our itinerary but it gave us a reason to go back.   Here are some of my photos which were taken during our trip.

This was probably the only angle (at that time) where I could take a photo of the Ruins without too many tourists “destroying” the view.
IMG_2291
I call this the “Free Taste” street.  Vendors would ask you to try their beef or pork jerkies for free (and I ended up buying some).  This was also a great shopping area for egg tarts and other Macanese pastries.

They say that there’s no “escalator” to success, you have to take the stairs but then there’s the escalator! Why take the stairs?
