Autumn won’t be complete without its warm-colored foliage. It is often associated to the colors red, orange and yellow. In South Korea, they say that the best place to experience Autumn is Nami Island. I had been looking forward to visiting that place. 🙂

From Hyehwa, we took four trains to Gapyeong Station.

From Gapyeong Station, we took a cab to the ferry wharf. There were a lot of taxis waiting outside the station. The taxi drivers could understand “ferry station”. There were a lot of tourists at that time and we had to wait in line. Gapyeong Station to the ferry wharf was about 6 to 10 minutes. Taxi fare: around KRW 4000.

When we arrived at the island, this caught my attention first. Planks of wood were placed in this area so tourists could leave notes or messages.

We had our late lunch in a restaurant which was serving authentic Korean cuisine and it was all veggies! I’m picky when it comes to veggies but I had no choice. When I tasted it, it was really good! I was able to eat everything in my bowl. It was an achievement! 😀

P.S. The photos were taken using a camera phone. Credits to Lhynx Lim for some of the photos that were used for this blog. ![]()
